Night Dance 
(43.5" x 47.5", oil on canvas, June 2002)

This one started out as a picture of two cartoon-like figures dancing under a starry night sky. It just looked silly, so I obliterated most of the figures except for the head and arms of a dancing woman. And I saved a bit of the star spangled sky.
