Art Access — the magazine in Seattle I write reviews for. Their site includes reviews and images of artwork from area galleries.

Border Art Residency - La Union, New Mexico. The founders are Alec's nephew Ray Parish, a sculptor who teaches at University of Texas El Paso, and his wife Becky Hendrick, a painter, teacher and the author of Getting It: A Guide to Understanding and Appreciating Art (Houghton Mifflin, 2002); About and Through the Arts: Lessons and Activities for Creative Teaching and Learning (Kendall-Hunt Publishing, 2005); and _______'s Book of Beliefs (iUniverse, 2005).
The six month to one year residency provides a professional studio artist working in drawing & painting, media art, or multi media with the opportunity to concentrate on the work, without distraction, in a quiet rural setting. The program enables artists to break new ground while focusing on individual goals ~ to strengthen art in the El Paso area ~ to broaden community understanding of contemporary art ~ to provide a venue for local art educators to share the experience of art making with their students. http//www.borderartresidency.org and http://www.transartists.nl/air/border_art_residency.3816.html
