Jack's Back This has been one of my favorites for a long time. I love the wet look and the sense of mystery. And I love the way the blue figure shape on the left and the bright red above it repeats like a darker and smaller reflection in murky water above and to the right. (I hope I don't sound egotistical saying I love things about my own paintings. But I usually don't plan such things; they just appear while I'm painting and surprise me as much as I hope they surprise the viewer).
