It looked spooky to me and was finished in the month of Halloween, so the title was a natural. This is a painting that has been reworked over and over since about 1989 to arrive at its current state. The way forms are stacked on on top another in a shallow depth is unusual for me. Usually I don’t like that look, but here it seems to work.
